2020 NAMSS Educational Conference & Exhibition
Dear NAMSS Community,
As I mentioned in my note last month, we delayed opening registration for the 2020 NAMSS Educational Conference & Exhibition as we evaluated the format of our annual meeting originally scheduled to be held October 3-7, 2020 in Portland, Oregon.
After much discussion, the NAMSS Board of Directors has decided to transition to a fully online virtual conference and exhibit hall experience. The 2020 NAMSS Virtual Educational Conference & Exhibition will take place October 5-8, 2020. The safety, health, and well-being of our conference attendees always remains our top priority. We believe this shift in event format is in the best interest of our attendees and partners, and we are confident we will be able to provide the same great educational content and experience in an even more dynamic and interactive digital knowledge exchange.
With this transition, we will be postponing most of our pre-conference workshops until later in 2020 to allow for a more dynamic and engaging online experience. CPCS, CPMSM, and Cred101 workshops will be available in our new virtual experience. In addition, our CVO Excellence Symposium will be integrated into our Virtual Educational Conference & Exhibition. More information will be available soon.
This may not be the event we expected when we first started planning our 2020 conference year but I am excited for the opportunity it brings our profession. This October we will come together as a community to learn, prepare, and grow as Tomorrow’s MSP –innovating, adapting, and as always focused on the future of patient safety.
Registration will open in July. Stay connected with NAMSS as we will be sharing more details soon regarding registration, education session details, and more. We are happy to address your questions or concerns at firstname.lastname@example.org or 202-367-1196.
